Mara López González
Bachelor of C.C. Economic and Business by the UCLM with an International Postgraduate Master in Administration and Management of Hospitality and Catering Companies. She completed her studies in Fort Lauderdale (USA) with specialization courses in Megayacht Interior Operations, Food Safety & Hygiene, Silver Service and Floral Care & Design.
Furthermore, she has began her professional career in Hospitality at Occidental Hotels in Canary Islands, although shortly she joined the Major Headquarters of Meliá Hotels International in Mallorca. Where she was Project Manager of several international projects and International IT Manager of the hotels in Portugal, Germany, France, Holland, Belgium, Italy, United Kingdom and Switzerland.
She carried out openings, disaffiliations and changes in society in more than twenty hotels worldwide, defining procedures, checklists, coordinating suppliers, dealing with properties and training hotel staff in different multidisciplinary areas, thus providing a global business vision.
In her professional career of more than ten years in the luxury yacht industry. She has worked as Chief Stewardess on medium and large-sized, private and charter yachts, both in Mediterranean, Caribbean and USA, performing several Atlantic crossings and passing periods of Shipyard in Holland.
Pioneer in the training on Interior Management of Luxury Yachts in Spanish language, Mara López has created and developed the specific Stewardship Expert Course to work in the luxury industry.
Her international experience of more than twenty years supports her professional prestige.
